IMG Worlds of Adventure Appoints General Manager

Dubai, UAE – April 27, 2015: The Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari Group has announced the appointment of Lennard Otto as General Manager of IMG Worlds of Adventure, the world’s largest indoor themed entertainment destination spanning 1.5 million square feet. Otto will provide strategic direction and lead all aspects of operations management at IMG Worlds of Adventure.

Widely recognized for his strategic vision and leadership abilities in the leisure industry, Otto brings over a decade of experience in managing large local and international hospitality and entertainment-based facilities including resorts, outdoor and indoor waterparks, beachfront developments, theme parks and adventure facilities.

For the past 11 years, Otto has been responsible for the management and operations during pre and post opening phases of major properties across South Africa and the Middle East such as Wild Wadi, Atlantis The Palm, Wahooo! Waterpark, John Buck International and Wadi Adventure.

A South African national, Otto will lead all operational aspects of running IMG Worlds of Adventure from development through to the execution of strategies and delivery of a consistently high level of guest services across all areas, from rides & attractions to the safety and security of guests.

Otto is a committee member of the Al Ain Tourism Authority and has been a keynote speaker at various business events and conferences, and additionally serves as spokesperson for Young Network Middle East. He has also worked with the Indian and Jordan tourism boards to develop leisure tourism infrastructure plans. IMG Worlds of Adventure is located within the City of Arabia development and consists of four main zones – MARVEL, Lost Valley - Dinosaur Adventure, Cartoon Network and IMG Boulevard.
